The journey of the funds
The services follow the money, in the order your programme needs. You can activate only part of them. The earmarkable digital euro is euros, on a real account, that can only be used for what you decided. Example: a local authority pays in €600.00 per household, usable with the suppliers chosen.
Every payment is recorded and nobody can change it afterwards: a tamper-proof blockchain, and a check before execution.
Seven services
Each service works on its own or with the others. You build the programme you need, and add a service when your scope changes.
Basic services and extensions
The basic services move funds from a funder through to a supplier. The extensions change the way the programme presents itself to its users.
These five services cover the full journey of the funds, from collection to tracking. It is the journey the Poto solidarity programme follows.
These two modes rest on the same basic services: they change who carries the brand and what the programme covers.
Four combinations
Each combination starts from a buyer and a need, then shows the services chosen and the possible options. We start from your situation to settle the combination that fits.
Finance department or head of a network
Fund specific purchases without losing track of the programme.
An identified funder, suppliers that can be reached and rules that can be tested. Collection from several contributors is not needed if the company funds the programme on its own.
Foundation or programme team
Bring several contributions together, then account for their use.
A clear allocation rule and viewing rights accepted by each party. There is no need to create a branded currency to explain the programme.
Software vendor or B2B platform
Enrich your own product with a payment programme.
Confirmed available interfaces, contractual responsibilities and an integration budget. Not every service is embedded in the first release.
Territorial scheme holder or local network
Make spending easier inside a network of participating suppliers.
The legal characterisation of the programme, the governance of the network, shops that can be mobilised and the funding of the service. Blockchain and local currency are not synonyms, their value is assessed separately.
Conditions for setting up
We do not commit to a deployment without these four elements. They are decided at the first meeting, with your teams and your advisers.

Rules of use written down and verifiable before the first spend, and what happens when a payment is refused.

Who issues the money, who runs the programme, who answers users and who keeps the proof.
Each combination is configured for one programme. The legal characterisation of the programme, the financial parties involved and the interfaces chosen are validated while the programme is prepared. So are each party’s viewing rights. We call on competent advisers where the programme requires it.
The Poto solidarity programme shows the full journey, from collection to tracking. Other programmes rest on the same set of services. No lead time and no price is announced before we have studied your programme.
The proof covers the payment, through to the supplier: amount, supplier, date, rule applied. It does not cover the contents of the basket or the delivery, and no personal data is written to the chain.
